wtf
Ever since Bashar al-Assad’s government fell, things have been pretty weird in Syria.
In the days following the government’s toppling, no one knew quite what the future of the country held. While seeing people get freed from torture cells was encouraging, in the back of our minds, we all knew that the people who planned to take over after Assad aren’t exactly the chillest — meaning that the country could be on the way to becoming a completely different kind of hell for those who live there.
In the meantime, however, people are still celebrating the departure of Assad. How are they doing that, you ask? Mostly by shooting guns into the air.
